Book Tour to the Eastern Cape

I just wanted to share a few pictures with you from the School Reading Roadshow to East London, King Williamstown and Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape. I was on the road for a week with my fellow authors Jann Weeratunga and Cora Groenewald, with Jann driving us around all day in a Duster. We visited too many schools to mention, including Merrifield Primary, Stirling Primary and Victoria School. We delivered books, sponsored by the Rotary Club, to underprivileged schools, spoke about our books in front of large assemblies and even gave a radio interview. It was all great fun and just a little exhausting. But I wouldn't have missed a day of it. I'm sure we are going to do it again soon.
