Evadeen Brickwood grew up in Germany and has been living in South Africa since the early nineties.

She studied International Ethnology, languages, Management of Training and Information Technology. As the owner of a Communication Skills college, Evadeen became active in various business committees. She also lectured at Wits University and Wits Technikon in Johannesburg.

A qualified translator, the author writes in English and German and translates her own books and occasionally those of other authors.

Evadeen began writing youth books on time travel in 2003 and branched out into the genres  adventure mystery and murder mystery. She is a member of PEN and lives in Johannesburg.
